Who we are

RoleCount tracks hiring at UK venture-backed startups. For any question about your data, email hello@rolecount.com.

What we collect

Your email address, if you sign up for the weekly email. We keep it, the date you signed up and the page you signed up on. We use it only to send you RoleCount emails.

Apply clicks. When you click Apply, we record which job you clicked, which of our pages you clicked it on, and when. We don't record who you are, your IP address or anything that identifies you. We use this to count how many people each company's roles send their way.

Site visits. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.

We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share your data.

Job and company data

Job listings come from companies' own public job boards. Funding and company details come from public sources such as press releases and news. We don't collect information about job applicants.

Who processes data for us

Supabase (database, hosted in London), Vercel (website hosting and analytics) and Resend (sending email). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under standard data protection safeguards.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time, and ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, by emailing hello@rolecount.com. We sign you up on the basis of your consent, and we delete your email address when you unsubscribe.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
